Cuvée Rosé Spumante, N/V
This wine is made from 100% Aglianico del Vulture grapes. Pomegranate in color, with elegant and persistent perlage, its bouquet jumps out of the glass with ripe notes of cherry fruit, raspberry, red currant and wild strawberries confirmed on a fresh, flavorful and well balanced palate. The goal of the winery is to produce wines that have excellent value and quality, and can be enjoyed by all wine aficionados.
Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC, 2013
Intense straw yellow, medium intensity and persistence on the nose, lively on the palate, with good body and balance, fruity and floral with notes of plums, peaches, white flowers (particularly orange blossoms and lemon blossoms).
Sangiovese IGT, 2013
Sangiovese is savory. Because of its chameleon-line, Sangiovese wines offer a wide range of tastes from very earthy and rustic–as is the case with many Chianti Classico–to round and fruit-forward like the Fantini.
On the nose, this wine expresses hints of bitter chocolate, dried herbs and sweet smoky oak, the sweetness coming through in the jammy palate where chocolate-coated dried cherries come to mind. Incredibly juicy with a firm, slightly herbal, savory oak backbone that brings it all into balance.
Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC, 2013
Combining impeccable quality and great value, the entry-level Montepulciano is a lush, delightful Abruzzi gem from the classic native variety. Either enjoy the freshness of its fruit the first couple of years, or let it age in the cellar for at least as many more.
